Did you bleed the brakes from the furthest corner starting with the passenger rear and work your way to the driver front?

Sounds like you still have air in the lines.

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before you put it into the car?

Bench bleeding is bleeding the master cylinder prior to installation. Many master cylinders are supplied with adapters and tubing for this process. This helps reduce the amount of air going into the lines while being replaced.

no you want to start in the right rear or passenger side rear then to the left rear so on the front driver side is last. also have a lot of brake fluid and i would bleed till the fluid is clear might as well flush it while you are bleeding them i am sure it needs it. that will help with pedal pressure as well old fluid degrades over time.

im having this same issue and still have not resolved anything, mine however happened when i removed my calipers to paint them, then i put them back and have been bleeding the 6 diffrent times with clear fluid and no bubbles coming thru but still the pedal is soft. i mainly havent been driving the GS because if this its kind of annyoing, how does one bleed the master

check for leaks as well. but just removing the caliper you shouldn't need to bleed the master but you could crack the lines by the master and have some one pump them. while you loosen and tighten.

I dunno about this coincidence, because i Have read multiple posts that say the same thing about removing a caliper or such and then having to replacing the master cylinder... im not sure if my orignal one was bad but i had my rear brake pads changed and thats when the low pedal first first occured and i have at least put a quart of brake fluid through the system its clear as can be i am still going to continue to bleed though because my pedal is horrible and i do think there was alot of air in the system so hopefully that does it, I will let you guys know if i do resolve this issue
