How do I remove the rear ABS sensor from the hub without damaging it?

This is all I could find which came from the section about removing the hub assembly. I don't think you need to do that to remove the ABS sensor though. When I removed my front sensors I unclipped the connector first, then made sure to pull the plug off the hub with as much even force as I could. Getting it back in is tough because it has to be completely level without any gaps. If there is any rust in the area make sure it doesn't fall into the hole. Plug it with a paper towel or something.

The ABS sensor is quite tight in the hub. If you can rotate it a bit, you can at least break any rust built up. Then rock ever so slightly back and forth while pulling.
