The Supra TT shock and spring combo are .75 to 1 inch lower. Do not mix and match supra spring/SC shock or vice versa. You will end up with a Ford F-150 stance...Unslammed!

Well I recently installed some supra teins s techs on supposedly supraTT shocks but after I looked @ the shocks the back were tokicos and fronts are KYB. The problem I'm having is the FRONt passenger side is like 2finger gap and the driver side is barely 1finger gap.

I would go back and make sure the springs are seated properly.

You should be able to compare the two and see if they are different. I believe the major difference is the lower perch; the Supra is further down equating to a lower height with the Supra spring.

incorrect. OEM TT Supra shocks/springs are NOT 1'' lower, they are .5'' lower. Go back and be sure the information your posting is correct.

Bottom line, you dont want to mix and match the shocks/springs between the Supra and SC. IIRC its the MK3 Supra shocks that are the same as the SC fronts, but even with that said, just stick with the basics. If you want Supra spring/shock combo, do just that. Use all MK4 parts (SC top hats are just fine) and do it right the first time.

I'm waiting on confirmation on this but I do think the NA/TT shocks are different part numbers.

Seeing as how both of you are looking for basically the same answer, IIRC the N/A and TT shocks/springs are different. I dont recall if there is a physical difference in size/height, but I do remember there is a spring rate difference between them.

To be honest I have no idea. IMHO, if your going to put aftermarket springs on your car, its best to go with aftermarket shocks as-well. The OEM shocks weren't designed to compensate for the "pre-loaded" condition from lowering springs, and aren't valved properly for a more aggressive spring. While the overall comfort may improve a little with aftermarket springs and OEM shocks, its still extra stress on the OE shocks, and sooner or later, your going to be buying new ones anyway.
