i have some friends that have the Tein CST and they think its the closest ride quality you can get to stock.
Other friends have BC coils / megans which are great for its money, but u lose a bit of the ride quality. but its to expected when you lower your car in general.
I see u are located in SOCAL, There are meets all over the place every week. You can do as much research as possible, but the BEST advice I can give you is to hook up with someone with some coils that you are considering and just have they drive you around the block or something. that way you get a sense of the ride quality and also see how low the coils can go.
good luck with everything !

no on tein and kinda iffy about megan..unless youre just trying to get coils for a short period of time. with coils you have to think about the long haul in buying them because they require rebuilds after a while depending on your driving style. if you read anything about tein is that they have to be rebuilt often, hence many people buy them to get the look then sell them after around 10,000 miles. i haven't heard anything really about megan turnaround time, but as for a rebuild for coils from tein...you'll be out of commission for a good 2-3 months depending on their work load. not trying to bash on anyone's coils or anything, but as i said earlier think about how long you're trying to have these.
if you do a search jic flt-tar, zeal function, and kw v3 are all highly recommended. and as for customer service jic is said to have some of the best and most efficient turnaround time along with zeal(endless). as for "most bang for your buck" i'm sure that a lot of people here can vouch for bc racing coils. good luck with your search mang, let us know what you get

Has JIC really gotten better? Last I heard, they were known for having the slowest response ever. My friend who was a JIC junky became an anti-JIC guy because service was the worst ever and this was somewhat known throughout the car community.
I would go with BC before going with Megans simply because you have the options of getting softer spring rates. At least they'll be decent for the price if your main focus is street driving with little/no intentions of tracking.
