I am making a drag car out of my 94 sc300. So i dont want it to ride real nice (thats what my sc400 is for). I already have the nf210 tanabe springs and tokiko blues on my 400.
The ride is nice but too much roll and flex for the 300's needs. any suggestions.
get rid of tokico blues first of all. those are pretty much stock replacement with "sportier" valving. go with some supra setup. i wouldnt know what is good for drag other than the hks drag coilovers. but go ask on the supraforums.
AFAIK, if you're going for a drag setup, you don't want too stiff of a setup. you want the rear to be soft so that the car will squat and weight transfer to the rear.
Agreed with turbodremz on this one 100%, because with coilovers you can custom choose your spring rates to set it up as stiff as you want, where many aftermarket springs are short when it comes to true race performance and made for comfort or street.
Just my $.2
