Would F-Sport rear brace help?
#2
I was told it would be helpful if I tracked the car or drive it hard. Since I haven't taken Micaiah past 70mph, then for me it would be waste of money.
I was also told that it cannot be seen from the rear. Or sides. But then again my car has the panels underneath. Maybe he knew that already.

I don't know if the car handles better or not, but it definitely feels different.
First, it sort of ties the front and rear "roars" together. Second, it (the car) "feels" a bit tighter.
I like it, and it does hang down a bit, meaning you have to be slightly more careful.
But the "tuning" of the front and rear noise/vibration together makes it worth every cent.
This is with the F rear sway, stock front.
I just installed brand new PS2s (235/265 again on 19" OZs) on my IS350, last set was done at 30,000 miles (even on treadwear bars, inside fronts done-alignment), no complaints at all but their roadhandling had gone way way down over the last 5K.
The IS is a new car again, especially with the JIC coilovers still very fresh.

In my opinion, I wouldn't get the F-sport brace since it is quite expensive compared to getting the GTspec rear tie bar or the V-brace they make. I have also heard horror stories that people are scratching their F-sport brace due to low clearance from the ground when driving over speed bumps and what not.
Cusco Japan has introduced a sway bar set as well as front and rear strut bars.
I probably go with the GTspec rear v-brace and tie bar if you are looking to stiffen the rear end. Sames goes for the Cusco rear strut bar, but I believe this one requires you to cut open your trunk liner to gain access to the bolts for the rear struts (I am sure not too many people want to do this to their cars).
Check out the vendors section as there are specials for the GTspec rear bracing parts.
Cheers!
