mayb my strut is leaking I saw some green fluid around it..but would that cause it to swerve ... doesn't a strut just absorb vertical impact and control arms hold it in a straight line?
If it is leaking should i just replace the whole strut then how much does that usually run?

I am in a.big dilema. Iinstaled tokico hts red shocks and springs. Rear left lower control arm. Front left and right lower control arms from supra. Inner tie rod, tie rod ends and alightment. And supra tt wheels with 245/40/17 front and 275/40/17 rear and now my rear end feels very loose when i go over any type of bump. Even over the small reflective thing that is in the middle of the road. Any idea of what could be?

I had this same issue years ago. Rain was downright scary and I dreaded the stop strip paint at intersections. Even changing lanes was spooky. My issue was alignment. My rear tires (315s) were pigeon toed in to the point the tech said "you DROVE this here?" Drive home was perfectly stable and was even in the rain. My car tends to hunt the grooves but I also run 265's up front.

About 3 months ago I was on my way home from work, it started to rain and I couldn't even exeed a 40 mph with the bald rear tires. I started to lose traction ( hydro plating is the more of a word) and it would start to pull and sway my rear end side to side even on the straight smooth parts of the road..Not knowing how to drive this vehicle in a slippery road conditions and bad rear tires (even with the new tires) can and will total your ride.
So...... slow down and take your time! You will get there....

More likely a side effect of bump steer more than anything assuming car has been realigned. If has Not been realigned and the toe is still out then that's the problem.
Could be a similar issue in this case. Check alignment. Check ball joint. Check wheel bearing.
It's unlikely the sway bar that's not how a bad sway bar or end links present. I haven't had a rear sway bar on the SC for a year now Transfers weight very well at launch just not ideal around corners.
