Default Help needed- installed Mark IV supension, now looks like an F-150

Is this a bad install? Incorrect parts? (purchased from a forum member)

2 1/2 gap in front.

Drives great.

Easy fix?
I like the shop that installed them and do not want to create a problem until I can explain what is the problem.

I think that the whomever installed your springs may have reversed the springs front to back. That is, front springs in the back and back springs in the front.

My first thought was that the springs were reversed.

This is the issue. All Supra TT components have to be used. You cannot mix/match SC springs/struts with TT springs/struts. Or...you don't have TT components. I suppose you'll have to take that up with the seller.

Could go rock crawling though

Hello!

I had the same problem on my 97´SC400 with a Bilstein-Supra Suspension. on the rear was lower and ok, but on the front, i had the same high as with the original suspension!

The good was, the Bilstein-damper have rings and i maked a new groove for the fixing ring of the spring disc.

I think, you have only the normal damper, or?

greets

I ordered lowering springs. Regardless of how my setup turned out I want to go lower than the stock MK IV. It would have been impractical with my front lip. I broke that for the 3rd and last time.

Good call, I totally forgot that the Bilstein dampers can come with the groove for the seat ring in two different places. This may have been in the higher groove.

you have been sold soarer suspension.

sell what you have got and get some coilovers where the height is adjusted with a movable base bracket, so the spring seat only needs to be adjusted to keep the spring captive and damping adjustment.

mmm nice front brakes

I bought these from a forum member. I tried to contact him to confirm they were from a TT. No reply.
I am having TT lowering springs put on the car Monday.
