R1 concepts is where you want to shop for your brakes.
They have rotors for the IS (blank, OEM style) for under $100 a pair for the front.
They carry a wide selection of brake pads, like Axxis, Centric, Posi-Quiet, etc. I went with Posi-Quiet on my car and went with their R1 blank rotors on all corners and the braking is as good as factory, but with less dust but equivalent performance with repeated braking.

Their rotors are pretty good quality, ran it for 20k already and it has not shown any signs or warping yet. I use their rotors on my TSX as well and they are excellent for daily driving. It's best not to get the drilled or slotted as they reduce the usable lifetime of your rotors. Blank rotors are the way to go.

Better yet, if you shop for your rotors and brake pads there (usually over $150), any orders over $150 is free shipping within the US. And not to mention excellent service.

PM if you need more info and I'm glad to help out with any info.

Trade it in.

Jokes. I put the EBC Red Stuffs on all fours. Wayyyy less dust than stock. Are your rotors warped? I doubt you'd need to change them unless you do loads of hard braking. What's your mileage at?

It wasnt but a few years ago that R1 Concept showed up on the "cheap end" ebay market. If my memory serves me correctly this is the company that proudly touted their "V" cut slots for "better cleaning"? Quite a laughable ad for anyone that knew anything about metallurgy and stress points. Simply showed me they knew nothing about what they were doing back then except hype a poorly made Chinese product to the teens shopping ebay.
Maybe they have gotten better over the past few years, but I have my doubts.

Stick with name brand rotors, EBC, PowerStop, StopTech, PowerSlot/AEM, heck even Bendix makes a basic replacement I would choose first.

my 2 cents

The TSIB to get the low dust pads is free under warranty (though they might refuse if your original pads are totally gone).

I see no reason to use any other pads besides the low-dust OEMs.... (which are like 65 bucks or so if you need to pay for em yourself)

As to rotors- first insure you need em. Unless there's something genuinely wrong with your current ones the only thing turning them does is waste useful metal.

If you did need new ones then blanks are the way to go unless you track the car.
