I have had many dropped vehciles from BMW's to Hondas and no matter what anyone tells you, the HA's ride very nice.

Granted my car is on 17's, but I am dropped 3" and on setting 5/5 and the car rides awesome. I rode in redgs4's car and he is on 18's and dropped about 2" and the car rode great.

The beautiful thing about the TEIN coilovers is that you can adjust the firmness. The HA coilover is versitile, yet afforable and about $400 less than FLEX.

If money was growing on tree's for me then FLEX would be the solution. However, $400 to me is a chunk of $$ towards exhaust or some other mod and I am very happy with the result.
yup, i was totally sold. no one saw but my mouth was wide opened at the back seat. tein is awesome. to me it's a double kill, coz' to be frank i don't think the HA is that stiff to me at all, and it's like hundreds cheaper than the Flex. and since i won't get the edfc, the HA was a no brainer for me.

Yes, the Tein HA is definitely a deal. The advantage ($400) of the FLEX is that you can adjust the height WITHOUT affecting the shocks' dampening. On the HA's, the lower you set it, the hard the ride gets.

Imagine you compressing your stock springs so that the car will sit lower...the ride will get "stiffer" and "Bouncier"...

However, if you don't plan on dropping it super low, it's nothing to worry about.

I'm actually thinking about HA's for the SC but with a little modification... But most likely, I'll get the CS's since the SC is a daily beater....

Yeah, I wish the HA's had top and bottom adjustability like the flex, however I am dropped 3" and it rides pretty damn good!

Synergy,

Glad that you like your new purchase. Your car looks much better dropped and the ride is still fine. I thought we were going to bottom on a couple driveways at lunch today. I'm still worried about your camber -- I doubt you will get 6 months out of your current tires. The good news is you will be forced to accelerate the purchase of your new rims and just in time for Christmas.

rominl, waiting to hear that your install is complete...

I hear ya on the tires, redgs. The camber is pretty bad! I am going to try and get it aligned anyway and see what they can do. They will probably laugh at me when I pull up. Owell!

Hey Bay area folks..
Where did you all finally get your Teins from?

Another question is..how where do you adjust the damping on the rear shocks..does it "stick out" somewhere in the trunk or is it somewhere that's difficult to access....reason is I have some stereo stuff that might get in the way...

Any input appreciated
Thanks
