Question JIC Magic Coilover Rebuild

Is it really $150 PER coil to get rebuild? That seems ridiculously high. Who's gonna pay $700 with shipping both ways to get their coils redone? I wanted to get them perfect again before I sell them off. Am I reading the website wrong? Any other shops that can do the rebuild?

that's about the going rate -- endless/zeal usa charges that much for a rebuild too. revalving the shocks for a different spring rate costs $30 extra per corner.

it might be more interesting to see if koni inserts will fit in your model/application of jic coilover -- i know a few nissan guys have done it.

*EDIT* wait, i didn't see that you were going to sell them. scratch the koni recommendation, then :P *EDIT*

I'm 95% sure the price is PER COIL. $150 to rebuild all 4 corners would be a steal

One of the reasons I have told you too, Micaiah . plus installation and alignment (if you will not be able to DIY)

Why do you need to rebuild the coilovers? I have run Tein Coilovers on my previous car for years and had no problem. I know people who run coilovers with over 100k and is still going strong and does not require rebuilds.

Installing aftermarket springs on our car still requires labor + alignment. I don't want to bring this to a spring vs coilovers debate but springs just does not cut it for me. I like to ride slammed. I am near the lowest setting on my coilovers. Not to mention, I like to adjust it during the winter time so I can drive in the snow. And stiffen to do mountain runs.
