Yea, you could use Hypercoil or Swift springs (or others if you must). You could put in off-the-shelf Bilstein HD dampers for the Supra and have a great street or street/track setup, or have them revalved for very low cost (a revalve is something like $64 a piece IIRC --> extremely cost effective) and have an extremely capable track setup. You could use Koni's as well, etc. It's very easy to do on top of that. That setup alone disproves the cost is everything theorem.
Hey, so I am on a budget and I am looking to buy some of megan ez street coilovers.. it's my daily driver, but every once in a while I'll go race it.. probably like once every two weeks.. would the megans be a good candidate?
The Megans should fit your needs then. If you're going racing (circuit tracking?), chance are you're probably not concerned with getting the absolute best time, unless there is a big cash prize somewhere
i saw use what he said or listed, there a reason for his usuage of parts lists on there, again am no expert, he sim more knowlegeable than most on that kind of stuff, and thanks bartledoo for the supraforums link., and by the way, why in the world you called your self bartledoo?
They've been on backorder since early December. Supposedly they're suppose to come in by March.
Im looking to pick up a set for my SC as long as my tax return is decent. I have an account with them through my shop so ill call them and find out what the deal is.
I like the megans, i have the front set at 21 (out of 32) and the rear at 17 (out of 32). coupled with my delrin LCA bushings and poly's up top the thing handles like its on rails!!!
