GB brakes installed.......
so i finally got to have the brakes installed on my car. first things first, i really like them. i was forced to get new brakes b/c of some high speed braking that i had to do while playing with davegs4. as i posted earlier, i was concerned that they would streak from the black paint that was on the pads. well.......they dont streak all that much, of course if i have only driven about 30 miles with them on. i have my thoughts on why i thought 1sick's looked streaked with black but i dont have time to write it now. anywho, i am posting some pics b/c i have to bounce for a marketing lunch. enjoy...........

fronts after 30 miles or so. notice that there is alittle black in the slots. and also that the silver paint has melted off. it actually smokes when you first use them a couple of times......

oh and i hope Dex doesnt see these pics, b/c i know he'll disown me for letting my wheel wells get so dirty. that flash really picks up the grime, huh?

j/k the brakes look great. Let us know more in a few days. I might go and get the rotors from Steve. They do look sweet.

much props to Metropo-LEX/Asian Works Inc. these guys did incredible work and were fast as all. notice they were all wearing rubber gloves.........working on the wheels!!!! and the best part is that it costs me $200 and that included the 55k service. these guys are gonna be doing my sways, LSD, and assorted goodies next month.........oops did i let that slip out
