You should've come onto here first. That buzzing noise is completely normal; everyone's GS on here does that! If you put the car in the "on" position without starting it, pump the brake pedal and it will come on again.

As for pulling to the right, I'm sure that's something else maybe brake pads?

If the pulling wasnt there before, you more than likely need to bleed the system. When you replaced the pump, you may have gotten an air bubble on one side. This happened to a friend of mine when he changed his booster.

oh and the buzzing sound is the pump adjusting pressure Whoever told you what it was was correct, but never said exactly what was going on

okay so i bought an entire brake unit amb pump everything for $150 and they go on ebay for $400+ my mechanic charged me $60 to install it and its still doing this buzzing sound when i brake and its still pullling to the left .......he also said it might just be a wheel sensor ?????? he said seeing that ther are no lights on maybe they need cleaning .......im not sure and he said my steering wheel is supose to turn back to me freely when i make a turn <<--------i didnt realize ive always had crappy cars untill now lol ........so to fix that he said it could be my rack and pinion ?

The sound is a pressurizing sound that is normal to all units. it sounds like a fuel pump pressurizing. hard to explain but that's the sound it should make, a healthy pressurizing sound.
The buzzing is NOT normal, the Buzzing is failure to the ABS unit. To be honest when it happened to me i was never able to completely diagnose the source of the problem since i never got a abs/VSC light. i got it scanned any way and DTCs came up. it was like they were hidden like a fawking Herpes virus in your spine.
after it was cleared the ABS took a dump, releasing pressure in lieu of kick back.

like you i change to another supposedly good pre 2000 unit and same thing happened. the pulling to the side is the VSC/traction control, which is controlled by the ABS and all other sensors (Yaw rate sensors, Speed sensors, and deceleration sensor) in my case the unit would apply hydraulic pressure to the right side of the car causing me to pull right. it was only from a dead stop. then it would go away.

you need to get your codes read, it is an enhanced reader not the regular autozone type. my mecahnic was able to read it for me for free which is generally a $80 charge. lexus charges $180 last time i checked. Go from there to see what you pull up. if not maybe swap out for a 2001 plus unit.

BTW i have a unit that was swapped out with 03 abs/ and booster, if your interested let me know.
