Exclamation What Coilovers 2 Get 4 My SC?

Hey there fellow SC enthusiasts I'm having a hard time deciding on choosing over Powered by MAX C/O or Stance. I'm thinking of rolling my fenders because my back tires keep rubbing like crazy they've actually cut a complete groove on my back set of tires & if I'm correct I'm running 19x8.5 Front +30, 19x9.5 Rear +30 5x114.3 73hb or 19x8.5 Front +30, 19x9.5 Rear +40 5x114.3 73hb on my SC right now. I really wanna drop it bad already but I don't wanna camber the car to much because then its gonna be a waist of tire & money. I'm leaning toward Stance GR+Pro because everyone has told me good stuff about there stiffness & how I can slam the car close to the tire & it won't even rub if it hits a bump but I'm looking for them on the Stance website & it doesn't show Stance GR+Pro for the SC's ! So I don't know if people are lien to me or what so that's why I started looking at The PBM C/O but I'm still undecided. Please HELP!!!!!

They dont make the GR+ Pros for the SC/Supra application. You have to buy the helper springs for the rear separate and install them to "convert" the GR+ to the pro.

Damn it! Is it a hassle to convert or fairly simple?

It's very simple to do. Just remove the top nut and install the spring with the plate at the bottom of the main spring. It's only needed on the rears.

Damn sounds mad easy I think I just might do that then BTW since I'm new to the C/O thing & this happens to be my first set, where & which springs & plate do I need to make it a GR+Pro? Sorry for sounding like a complete noob but I basically am in the whole C/O thing. lol

Na the car is just a weekend cruiser but I don't wanna spend more than $1200 on The C/O, & I hate the fact that my car is constantly slicing my back tires.

They sell the helper springs separate. You can see them on the site and you can look at pics of the Pro to see their position. Btw coilovers won't stop your tires from rubbing. You still need to do some fender modification unless you're planning on running alot of negative camber which would not make any sense.

I would try getting a set of Megans. I've only ever had them rub once on my SC. The ride quality is good as well and they're very cheap. I only paid $700 for mine with next day shipping.

You could also try a set of BCR's. I've heard very good things about them and they are just under $1,000 from some of our Club Lexus vendors.

the PBM's I have are nice. but a set of sway bars would be a great thing to buy with coilovers on our heavy cars. i rub with my stock wheels but im also like 1.5 inches away from my fender liner with out an alignment haha
