The instructions for bleeding include hooking up a Lexus tool under the dash, or a Toyota tool to the ABS, or something. I'm not exactly sure because I took a look at it on Alldata and knew it wasn't worth bothering because I didn't wanna mess something up and create an issue. That's how Lexus says it should be done, but that doesn't mean there aren't ways to work around it. No need to jump on my case because I'm trying to explain how to do it right.

hey man, I wasn't trying to jump all over you, sorry if it came out that way. I just checked all data...the procedure Lexus says to follow is a little over the top imo lol

Yeah, I'm reading it right now, and from what the other guys are doing they were right, it should work without issue.

What the tool is for, is basically telling the car you are bleeding the brakes. Although it also says to press the brake pedal over 40 times with the ignition off, before turning it back on again. Everything else people have said seems ok. So, my bad, I was wrong.

The way lexus tells you to do it is because by hooking up the techstream controller to the OBD port, it is basically telling the ABS pump to pump out the old fluid. But the DIY way is to let the ABS pump cycle through by turning on the ignition for the first 15 seconds or so then turning it off.
