DS sway bar link hitting ds shock???

Default DS sway bar link hitting ds shock???

What would cause my rear sway bar end link to rub and hit the driver side shock. I have koni yellow and eibach pro kit supra suspension. I have new prothane bushings in the rear and new end links.....Its like my sway bar is crooked....whats goin on?

Sounds like it's a bit offsetted towards the driverside. Maybe your links arent adjusted to the same length?

Could've been a silly mistake when you installed it. Check over your work to make sure.

he's probably telling you to check to see that both driver and passenger side endlinks are the exact same lengths

they are i replaced both at the same time and they have the same part number....

looking at the wear mark in this pic bar looks like its 1/2 inch offseated to the left

even with the 1/2" u think that will be enough to bring that end link in the correct position.....what if i turn the end links around and put them on the inside once i get this all figured out....like flip them on the inside of the sway bar...

There is nothing to hold the sway bar from moving left to right. Some come with a stopper so it doesnt move like that. Easy fix would be to just push that sway bar back to the middle then put a couple hose clamps around the sway bar, one on each side next to the mounts. That way the sway wont move over anymore.

Theres nothing really wrong, its just out of place.

i'm not sure if that would be a wise to do I think it may change they way the swaybar functions due to its connecting point being further to the right on the LCA then what was designed by a Toyota engineer, I'm sure some one else will chime in and correct me

ill just jack it up loosed the bushing mounts and center it and tighten it back down....if it moves now i have 2 new rear shows in the rear.....ill do the worm clamp method....thanx
