Default F sport spring TSIB... HELP!!!

I have a brand new in box set of f sport springs part # PTR07-53080 that I got from a friend. Problem is that these are the ones with the TSIB for the clicking noise and were replaced by lexus with a newer part # 53091. I don't want to install these knowing I might have that problem. I went through local dealer and even called the 800 lexus satisfaction #, and got no where! Said they will not swap out for the newer springs and that I'm stuck with them! any imput would be apreciated. Thanks!

Here is the TSIB. Bring this to the dealer along with the original receipt showing that the springs have been purchased within 12 months as stated in the TSIB and they should give you the new springs. If the springs were purchased over a year ago, you might be out of luck.

Agreed, if it's over 12 months, you may be out of luck.

Unless you get them installed, and the Lexus dealer may potentially consider doing the rear springs as part of the vehicle's warranty, and not the part's, but that may be hard to get to fly. Depends on the dealer/region, I'd think.

I don't have the reciept or know which dealership they were originaly purchased at. that's part of the problem. I brought the copy of the TSIB to them, but as mentioned, they wouldn't do anything. so I think I'm stuck... short of buying the new rear springs.
you would think that because they are new in box that they would help. I was wrong, even spoke to a supervisor at lexus satisfaction and told him how disapointed I was. Got no where..

You could always just put the Tein spring silencers on the springs and install the ones you have. That was Lexus' TSIB fix before they started installing the revised TSIB rear springs.

Since the warranty on Fsport parts is only 12 months, and you have no way to prove that they were purchased sooner than that, Lexus has no obligation to replace the springs for you.

PTR07-53090 is a set of 4.
PTR07-53091 is just the updated rear springs, no fronts.

What size rims/tires are you running?

That looks quite low for just having the F Sport springs.
