Are there specs on how much to torque the bolts in the box? Otherwise, do you guys know if there are specs for the stock one in the service manual? I've installed other parts before and with these specs and my torque wrench, I felt pretty good about things not falling off and not over tightening the bolts.

Neo - I thought someone would reply by now. I am normally not where my manuals are so it took a while to get the numbers. These are from the manual for the 2k1 GS430/300 although I doubt it is very much different for any of the other years. The numbers are given with nt-m first and then lb-ft for torque. The front bar bracket bolts are torqued to 28/21. The link to the sway bar (one bolt and one nut) get the same torque - 55/41. The rear bar brackets are 18/13. The last number has some confusion as the diagram is not exactly clear and it is different than the copy that accompanies the rear bar removal. My best guess is that the link nut on the rear bar is torqued to 65/48 although there is a chance it could be 30/22. I used the 65/48 torque spec. You will notice that the bushings have a waxy feel and this is common for suspension bushings, it is a waxy lubricant that is supposed to help avoid the creaks. After cleaning the bars, I used a little synthetic grease on the inside of all the bushings just to help and used Loctite on all the fasteners. No squeaks, groans, or harshness in my opinion. Eliminates a great deal of the body lean. Combined with the bilsteins this makes for a very pleasant street car ride/handling tradeoff. But when you get to the limit of adhesion there will still be no doubt in your mind that your in a Lexus sedan and not a sports car.
