Just wondering where you guys thought I should try, I drive backroads to work and they arent the best roads, right now i have 20 in the front and 16 in the back. Any sugges?
I just installed my BC's two weeks ago, I got mine on 12/10 and its ok. I had it at 5 all around thinking it'll give a comfort ride but the ride became bouncy because it was too soft so I returned it to 12/10. The spring rate is where its at I got 10K/8K which is the standard for our cars. Test out different settings and drive on the same roads see which setting will work for you. How do you like the ride quality so far compared to your srpings?
I play with it pretty much every day, sometimes I go 7/15 just to see how the car does. the stiffer you go compared to the front the more oversteer you will be looking for
All i know is im at about 0 finger gap, not slammed at all and my front are hitting the fender liner quite a bit.. guess i need to go up a bit more, i hate that sound :0...
let me know what numbers you decide to go with. I dont even know what my settings are on. I havent touched them since i got them installed. How hard is it to access those settings?
You have to take out the lining in your trunk and the plastics in your engine bay, very easy... What size rims are you running? how low are you? any rubbing?

You should buy damper **** extenders for the rears. That way you wouldn't have to take the trunk liner out each time you want to adjust the settings.
you dont have to. i cant imagine why the IS would be much different but you can easily pull the lining back in the trunk and reach down to adjust it. beats having to remove all the stuff in the trunk or cut out a hole for the extenders.
I cant really judge right now, havent played with them much yet.. Im at 0 gap, and at 22/18 and i can def tell that bumps are a little more harsh on these than my tein springs and its kinda bouncy.. I really need to play with these, being my DD i hate the sound when you rub, so ima give it a week or so and see if i can get things right, if not ill just go back to my Springs.
22/18 is pretty stiff, turn them down a bit. i found the best is to do like you have and set the fronts 4 clicks higher than the rears. do 10/6 and if thats too soft try 12/8.
You can always take it up 1/4 on the coils so that you dont rub. Since you have no one to roll your fenders. Ride harsh cause your going up on the dampner. If you want a softer ride do down. At least on my AWD i had them at 8 front and 5 rear but that was how i liked it.
