Post 2007 IS350 - Brake Pads

Need to change my brake pads on all 4 wheels on my IS350. My rotors look good and no need to be turned.
1. Can someone give me a complete instruction on how to change brake pads on all wheels on IS350?
2. Has someone used Duralast Gold Cmax/Brake Pads from autozone? Is it a dusting or non dusting pad?

I am thinking to go with Duralast pads. Right now I have the OEM non-dusting pads and hate it, and because it has low friction, I cant feel my brakes grabby anymore. Any suggestion on any other brand?

Just to note, the DIY in the FAQ's actually says to remove the caliper when doing the rear pads, but I believe the OP just did that as he was also replacing his rotors. There is no need to remove any of the calipers if you're just replacing your pads. When you get the rear pads out, check to make sure that the caliper is not seized on the slide pin, otherwise you won't be able to get the new, thick pads in. Mine were, and the dealer was asking for $1100 to replace the calipers.

for the og brake pads the dusty ones. do we need to bead in the new brakes?? ive read that the new dustless ones you dont need to bead in? somthing like it has coating on the outside and in 500 miles it will bead into your rotors with light every day usage???

any info would be great.

i just dont want to unnecessarily wear down my rotors beading in the new brakes.

For $15 a rotor at the local shop, you should turn them. They may look ok but they likely aren't. I used ebc red stuff. Highly recommend those.

Why?

Unless there's a significant visible lip, or otherwise something wrong with them (ie excessive uneven pad transfer- which would be noticeable when braking and the ignorant usually think is a 'warped' rotor) all turning them does is waste useful metal that could be used for stopping and shorten the life of the rotor.
