Megan EZ's
Hey guys,
I thought i'd contribute:
Previous setup: Tein CS2's w/ Exact RCA's (front)
New setup: Megan EZ's w/ Exact RCA's (front)
Wheels: 19x9.5 on a 225 front, 19x11.5 on a 265 rear
Pics:
I just installed these and so far I love them. The stiffer spring rate over the CS2's is much better if you're planning on driving low. I have the dampening on the stiffest setting right now, and in comparison to the Tein's I'd say the ride is several clicks stiffer. In the pics, I have plenty of room to go lower but that would just be ridiculous.
Also some of you were asking about the stiffness of the EZ's vs the LP's. I originally wanted the LP's, but with the back order the rep told me the EZ's are just as good. They don't get as stiff as the LP's due to the 15 way, but you can always "cheat" by changing the preload.
Let me know if you guys have any questions, i'll be happy to answer them.
Ryan

WHEEL*****, any specs on the wheels? i woulda thought that the EZs were a lil soft to be running on those kinda wheels..i would assume from ur small review that they work out just fine then..

To answer your question, yes the EZ's are a little soft for running them as low as the car is in the pic. I had to raise it back up about 1/2" so the tires wouldn't rub, and that's with just me in the car. If I'm going to be driving with 3 or more i'm going to need to raise it even more, or do some more fender work to stop it from rubbing (this is the rear only). I haven't messed with the spring pre-load yet, but I don't think I want it any stiffer or its going to lose that "Lexus" ride. For the fronts, my UCA hits the shock tower ocassionally, so I'm hoping to notch the front. Let me know if you have any other questions.

i messed with my height a little bit again. fixed my rear frame and got my stability bar back on.
going to re-adjust everything again because not exactly happy with it. maybe its my new tires that i dont like tho.
trying to get a 1gs to daily soon hopefully.
