anyone know generally know how long megan coilovers last in terms of miles? my stock struts are done. i don't track or intend to ride slammed, just was going to get these instead of new struts since price is similar. but i don't want them if they are going to poop out after 10k miles or something.

don't know if anyone will volunteer, but i'll ask. i've never had an aftermarket suspension.anyone have a similar setup 10k/8k or 12k/10k that is willing to give me a ride in their car? I would like to know 1st hand how stiff 12k/10k is before i purchase these.

Not to thread jack, but what does it mean when you guys say the coilover setting is "soft" or "stiff"

Envy,

Soft = good for moderate drop, not super dumped with comfort.
Good example is Tein Comfort Series. They do not let you go very low but many people say they are almost as comfortable or equal to stock.

Stiff = good for super dump and does not allow the shock to travel as much. So if you're on aggressive wheels, stretched, camber etc etc stiff coilovers with a stiffer dampening setting dialed in is best so you dont go and rub all day long.

Good example is Tein SS, they go very low but are quite stiff. Good for the track and for not allowing your car to bounce around all on your aggressive wheels and tires eating them up.

(my pov as a daily driver not as anyone who has tracked at all)

Im planning on going with the ez's and setting the dampening on the softer side since the wheels on my car are only 18x8 front and 18x10 rear with conservative offsets. No rubbing, daily driving.
