Eibach pro is350 vs Tein H
Hi all,
I want the most comfortable lowering springs for the Is250.
But I cannot find the springrates of the Eibachs 250/350, does someone has this information? There is a difference in drop, so there must be a difference in springrates.
Therefore, The Tein H springs should be comfortable as well, as the drop is even less than the Eibachs.
Is there anyone who have tried both?

I think the Pro-Kit's for the IS are progressive and range between 4.5kg initial to 7.5kg final (someone correct me if I'm wrong). The H-Techs are linear 6kg/6.3kg. I think The H-Techs will have a firmer, yet predictable ride/handling all the time rather than feeling soft and than stiff at full compression.
I personally would go with the H-techs after riding in an IS250 AWD with F-Sport springs(which are like IS350 Pro-kit). Also shocks are definitely a must if you want to maintain a smooth ride.

Thanks
but why would you prefer the Htechs instead of the Pro-kit?
From what i know, the Fsport springs lowers the car by 1inch all around and are indeed from eibach, but as the lowering specs is different of that from the USA specs, it seems like the Fsport springs are (rebatched EURO eibach pro kit (lineair), which lowers the car 1inch all around)

I'm not sure if these values have changed but the F-Sports used to be progressive. I'm not sure about the Eibach Pro-Kits though. If the Eibachs are indeed linear, than I wouldn't mind them at all.

The European Eibach Pro springs for the IS250 are lineair springs That's according to their product specs on their website: http://www.eibach.de
Seems like eibach got 4 different kind of springs for the is250/350 (if Fsports springs are included)

Just installed the Tein Htech on my is250 and the ride is great!
I would say that if stock suspension is 100% comfort than the tein Htech still remain 90-95% of the stock comfort, but with a firmer en sportier ride. The suspension is not uncomfortable and feels really 'lexus' like. People who don't know, wouldnt even know that the car has stiffer suspension.
The drop is ok as I don't care about the drop that much:
1 got 2 fingergaps front and 1fingergap rear.
