Was thinking after I posted, the TRD bushings would only fit the '03-'05 arms if I understand things correctly. Was there an upgrade in the bushings in '01 that would work for 98-00?
I think I might end up throwing in the ones from Carson and take my chances but if there's a better alternative it's not done yet.

i personally test fitted both 98-99 and newer bushings. talk to Collin at Carson Toyota, Those bushings hold up a lot bettern than the daizen kit. the only bad part about them is that you have to reuse the inner sleeve (older style control arm) and the outer sleeve of the stock bushing (newer style). so you have to grind down the rubber off the stock sleeves. Not too bad of a job though. I was able to replace both sides in about 2 hours (and thats on a hoist at my dealer). Call Collin he'll hook u guys up.

I made the same mistake earlier this week on one arm. Did not realize it was too late, and mangled the outer sleeve and could not re-use. Luis at Carson Toyota was SUPER helpful when I called him frustrated and said I wanted to buy two new control arms. He suggested I find 1 used arm and go ahead with the poly bushing install. After several days of running around to find a used arm, I was able to get one and get the polys in. The handling difference is AMAZING. So if you can, find used arms and go with the polys. If you want new arms, I found them for 225 shipped brand new from ebay. Contact user: tombracco He is VERY helpful. Good Luck

I'm using the bushing from sewell now with no problems so far. I had daizens before and the outter sleeve was already removed, and so i just removed the daizens and now using the sewell bushings without the outter sleeve, you may want the metal tube that hold the bushing in place on the bolt though.

Possibility of tear propagation from a rough install or material failure, given the limited occurrences (6 still?), I would think 210's wouldn't lower it to the point of stressing it that much but they are a pretty tight bushing.
