Ugh... front end still rattling/clunking/shaking after new parts
I've been chasing some front end problems for what feels like forever. Car is '92 SC300 with ~160k.
Over bumps, I was getting a clunk from the right front.
In the last few months, I have changed:
-LCAs(new Supra LCAs)
-steering rack
-daizen rack bushings
-tie rods(inner and outer)
-sway bar end links
Since doing the work, the clunking has progressed from only occurring over large bumps to now just constantly clunking over every little imperfection in the road.
In addition, over severe bumps, the right front tire seems to be moving back and forth pretty significantly, causing the steering wheel to shake back and forth. It has gotten to the point where I really don't even like driving the car at all, so it has been sitting whenever possible.
The shocks on the car are original, and DEFINITELY need to be replaced. My question is, could a badly blown shock and/or mount cause the issues above? I have also thought about the upper control arms, but I doubt if they would cause this.
Either way, the shocks need to be replaced, but if the problems continue, I will be frustrated, as there won't really be any parts left to replace.

^ yeah, tighten the subframe bolts. Theres a maintenance thread here somewhere which says exactly how much to tighten them. I got my mechanic to do it (took him a second) while my car was in the air during my last oil change. Made a difference..

If it started on only big bumps and now clunks on every little bump AND your struts are original, it's time to replace them. Doesn't matter how many miles is on your car, those struts are old and most likely leaking. Replace them with 97+ struts...they are the same but much cheaper.
