Just curious, what does the Steering ECU do exactly, how much $$ & where do I get it?

Also, any brain box mods (CPU chips) available to boost HPR?

Also, any trans ecu upgrades to permit changes in shifting?

no brain box for the GS to boost hp. I think the ecu is too complicated.

I beleive the steering ecu makes the steering tighter at higher speeds . Just a guess though.

And as for the trans ecu upgrade you can checkout WWW.rodmillen.com and WWW.swiftracing.com . I don't think they have it availabe yet but will be soon.

Thumbs up Info

Ira - The steering ECU will take the slop out of the steering & will require slightly more steering effort which gives ya better suspension feedback & road feel. No one's been able to hack into the Lexus computer codes ( Superchips & RMM have tried ) so Swift's piggyback ECU which accompanies their intake is the only one I'm aware of. Swift is scheduled to release their transmission ECU in the next few weeks ( we hope! ). It will allow programmability to work with all your engine mods like the 3.76 geared LSD or a supercharger. It will also provide quicker shifting. If U don't want to wait, RMM has their modified valve body available now which will firm up the shifting but I don't think it's programmable to work with other mods other than the TC. Check out those links that 1Nice has provided for more info.
