32k miles should i change pads with fluid?
wondering if I should just go ahead and get the pads changed while the car is in the shop for oil/brake fluid change?

If the pads are getting below 5mm and wearing out, then you would change them. If not, then keep the pads on until then.

5mm actually has a lot of life remaining in the pad.
1mm is the minimum spec on the 2IS brake pads.
If it's got significantly more than that, leave it. They're very easy to change later.

even if they are needed, its a simple job to do yourself. the shop is going to charge you over $200 to change brake pads.
