The EZ have a great ride but I find myself adjusting the dampers closer and closer to Hard because my front scraps horribly over dips in the road (not bumps). The LP offer more damper adjustment and 'may' be better suited.
If you need to adjust your dampers to the stiffer setting to compensate for dips, then you've got the wrong spring rates.
Thats a bold assumption not knowing my other suspension mods, how low I'm riding, my front wheel offsets/tire size and just how bad the roads are where I drive. My point was - I think the LPs offer more in terms of damper settings and potentially more usable spring rates. I'm happy with the EZ, just not what I'm used to coming from KW and Ohlins on other vehicle platforms.
It's not a bold assumption at all. You should never use the damper setting to compensate for suspension travel. It's not made to do that. I use to rebuild shocks as a side job and I've seen too many shocks seals blown because people would crank up the damper setting near max.
EZ are fine, but I think if you're going to be low to the ground, it's a safer bet to go with the LP.
