F-Sport springs/shocks combo or BC Racing BR coilover?
the price difference between the two setups are about $100 more or less. i have a 250 so i won't be going to the track. all my previous rides had coilovers, i just can't see me paying the similar amount of money as a set of coilovers for a spring/shock combo. i've read a lot of good review on the BCs. what would you choose?

BC coilovers for you, which gives you adjustability for height and dampening. You will get better handling too, due to the mono-tube design of the BC Racing coilovers. You can fine tune your ride to your likings. I am very satisfied with my BCR coilovers and I've had them almost 2 years now. No regrets and I am happy with my purchase.

BCR is a no brainer. While the f sport setup is good I think the BCRs win in every way. From handling to warranty. If there was a $500 difference then I could see a tough choice but if $100 is all the BCR is the best route and I can almost guarantee down the road you will be happy you got them.

I vote for BC coilovers, u can drop it to the height that you want and you will also have an even drop front to back. Not sure about the fsport shock combo, but with springs I heard that driver side to passenger side will be uneven (I think that's called the Lexus lean), with coilovers you will not have that.

I went with BCR too. Should be coming in a week or two. They weren't readily available at the distribution center so had to wait 2-3 weeks. It'll be worth it though.
People buy F-Sport combo because A)it's oem stamped and B) longevity (bilstein dampers are quality pieces). If the springs were linear, I'd be more willing to spring $900 for them...
I've used Koni Yellow/Eibach Pro-Kit(linear rates) on my Mazda3 Hatch before selling it. Before that setup I had Koni/Mazdaspeed3 accessory springs (porgessive) and they were sure bouncy. Progessive rates meant my shock rebound could never adjust to both the soft initial and stiff final progressive rates.
My buddy has an IS250 AWD with just F-Sport springs and stock shocks - rides terribly bouncy. Brother in law had F-Sport springs and bilsteins on his GS350 RWD and it road well with bilsteins; however it wasn't low enough(3-4 fingers in back) so he ended up switching to Tanabe DF210 just get to get rid of wheel gap since it looked so bad.
