Default Sport Tuned Suspension part numbers? (Do they exist?)

Just curious, for the cars which come with X Package or F-Sport Package, is the part numbers for the sport tuned suspension parts?

Lets just say, you have a non X Package/F-Sport package on your vehicle and would like mod it to have the sport tuned suspension parts like that X-Sport/F-Sport package would have.

I was told from Lexus that there are no actual part numbers for them to order them as it only comes with the car.

Can anyone verify this or be able to find them?

Thanks

You were of course not told the truth. Pretty much any part that ever comes on a car has a part number.

There are more parts to the "Sport Suspension" than you'd think though (especially for 2011), including differing control arms, and the 2011 IS250 with sport package has the larger vented rear brakes from the IS350.

The part numbers also vary between the older Sport package parts and the new F-Sport parts, though I suspect they are very similar.

Changing over everything would be quite ridiculous, doing the springs, shocks and sway bars would be more reasonable.

2006-2010 Sport/X-Package/F-Sport Package:

48510-80257 - RF Shock
48520-59285 - LF Shock
48530-80289 - Rear Shock (Qty: 2)

48131-53151 - Front Spring (IS250, Qty: 2)
48131-53171 - Front Spring (IS350, Qty: 2)
48231-53151 - Rear Spring (Qty: 2)

48811-30661 - Front Sway Bar (09-10 Only, 06-08 used the same bar with or without Sport Suspension)
48812-53070 - Rear Sway Bar (09-10 Only, 06-08 used the same bar with or without Sport Suspension)

Jeff

Thanks Jeff.

Just curious for the rest of the parts, what would the part numbers be for control arms and the brakes (if I were to do that?), what part numbers would they be?

I may consider trading my 07 AWD for a 07 RWD and mod to be sport like.

Thanks

I'd say don't waste your money on buying all that stuff. Seems like you want an OEM type suspension and aren't concerned with being LOW. I'd suggest the F Sport shocks, springs, sway bars. With the money you save, you can buy the F Sport chasis brace. Check Sewell for the parts at a discount for CL members. Just my opinion.

I thought about F-Sport springs, but I would prefer to have the linear springs so I would think that the Sport Tuned suspensions would work out instead unless it is not wise to do it this way?

That's is the same thing what I was thinking

It seems like the sport suspension/Xpackage springs & shocks for the 06-10 are the same. OEM Fsport 2011 has got different part numbers... so I am still looking for the difference between them.

I recieved a reply from Darrel of Sewell. He saids that there is no actual part numbers but they apparently come as a set which consists of both a shock and springs.

The costs of the set is about $1023.60 (discount in).

You can get brand new coils with custom spring rates and adjustable dampening for that price. That sounds sportier to me.

Sorry, haven't visited this thread in a while. I'm not sure about the pricing of the install since I have not considered doing this quiet yet. Alignment, from the dedicated alignment shop I go to, about close ot $160ish.

I have confirmed with with Jeff Lange, the part numbers initially posted by him are those of the Sport package.

I Can confirm that the European Sport package does use the same numbers as stated above.

I might contact Darrel for the parts.

Thanks Sango

Interested in installing the shock / springs from 2006 - 2010 IS 350 RWD equipped with the ST - Sport or X package with Sport Tuned suspension. What additional parts might also be needed from sport tuned vehicle needed and different from base model ( front upper mounts with insulator, lower spring insulator, rear upper and lower spring insulators and bump stops etc.)?

Have since confirmed that springs / struts installed on vehicle with the Sport Tuned Suspension, are different part numbers from vehicle without the Sport Tuned suspension. Appears that spring / struts are the only difference regarding part numbers. All other part numbers are the same part number for both, vehicle with & without Sport Tuned suspension (front upper mounts with insulator, lower spring insulator, rear upper and lower spring insulators and bump stops etc).

Quick Reply: Sport Tuned Suspension part numbers? (Do they exist?)
