Default 245/35/19's and lowering with Megan springs

Help the newbie! - Team, I wanted 19" rims and tires i could rotate therefore I went with 245/35/19's (19x8.5"+38 offset) all the way around. They look great! I had to mod the front fenders a little (a little heat gun action). I will post some pics tomorrow but wanted advice from all this experience in this forum! The Megan Orange drop 1.5" all the way around and Megan blue does 1.25". Can I without anymore mods to the front fenders?? I really appreciate the help.

I apologize. I was asking if I could add the springs with no more mods to the fender well. I am hoping others have had the experience or know. Ideally I get the Megan Orange for the 1.5" and rock N roll. Any help is appreciated.

the Megans springs shouldnt be a problem, the drop is mild and your wheels dont look aggressive so it will be ok.

Where are you rubbing? The front will give the most problems, but you're not going to be that low so you may be ok. The 245 tire worries me up front though.

i am rubbing on the outsides edges of both the driver side and passenger side. Its the absolute edge. I think its on the back side of the fender well, not the front. Any insight??

btw the wider larger front tire does make a difference. I haven't driven on a track but the round a bouts are more fun now. The car sticks!

Man if your rubbing now with a 245 up front what you think is going to happen when you drop it another inch and a half. Get new tires then get your new springs or your going to chew through your tires

19x8.5 225-35 or 235-35 would be better than 245-35 all around. Most run 245-35 in the rear only.

Thx for the info. With the majority of the angles being more aggressive on the bottom of the fender i wasn't sure if lowering would by chance help and allow me to get a better profile simultaneously. I know I am reaching but had to ask.

all the megans i see have a 1.25" drop, advertised in blue and orange.

you are saying the orange is now 1.5"??? if so, thats a great alternative to H&R for half the price. do you have a product # to back this up?
