Default Front suspension advice?

2000 GS3 @ 140k all original and oem.

Problem is, while going over any speed bumps/inclines I can hear on the front passenger side ''clunk''. I've had a similar problem in the past with another car and it turned out to be the struts. I'm inclined to believe it is but, i've been reading about the lower ball joints? i'm not positive. Any suggestions?

The clunk on these cars usually comes from a bad bushing in the rear lower control arm on the front suspension assymbly. Mi car makes the clunk currently and I have inspected these and sure enough they are toast. Do a search for control arms in the forum and you will finad many have them replaced either with daizhan bushings (spelling prob wrong) or factory oem equipment. But its fairly a normal occurence for them to start knocking around after 120+k miles etc. GL
