Please help me! On stock f springs on a rwd is250.
Hello everyone I have a 2010 is250 rwd. and I have 235/35/19's in the front and 265/30/19's in the rear. I went to a lexus store the other day and they completly talked me out of getting them. I just want to make sure I can put them in and get an alignment and have it b back to normal. if u have any pic's of this same set up please email me at paintrm250@hotmail.com.

What was there reason of talkin you out of spending money with them and gettin springs? I wouldn't say back to "normal" but if you get a good alignment you could reduce tire wear. From what I've read on here the lexus spec alignment will wear out your tires faster if your lowered any.

To answer your question, yes you can have them installed. Will it be back to normal? Hmmm, well if you're referring to ride quality, not the exact same. If you will have negative camber? a bit, but some negative camber is good performance wise. I'd also like to know what the "Lexus Store" said to you? Did you mean the Lexus dealer?

I work at a toyota store in MA herbchambers. and i bought my new is250 from herbs store in sharon ma. and i went there to get the springs. and they were like your alignment will never be good, and my tire will ware out 3 times as fast. i want a stiffer lower ride im cool with that. i just dn't want my yoko s drives wareing out.

I think im going to spend a g on bc coil over because they come with camber adjustments plates and then i kno it will b able to be aligned properly. has anyone evey had any problems putting bc coilovers in a rwd 250? any sugjestions?

BC Coilovers don't have camber adjustment plates for the IS. It's not possible to fix camber with plates in the 2nd gen IS. I think the best option would be the FIG control arms or Megan racing camber links (Megan links can introduce more noise/vibration). I just ordered a set for my IS350 and as long as you don't dump it to the ground, a simple alignment will be good enough.

FYI I have F sport springs and shocks and have not had any alignment problems or weird tire wear. They were installed and aligned at Magnussen Lexus in Fremont. Had it like that since November.
