I believe that they actually did change more than just 2 between the 2010 and 2011, what I was more getting at, was that between the 2010 IS F and 2010 ISx50 there were only 2 arms different, while on the 2011 IS F it shares all of it's arms with the 2011 ISx50 (with Sport Suspension).

I'll find some time and put together a more comprehensive list of which vehicles were equipped with which arms. That should provide more information.

So has anyone actually installed one and know if it's a direct swap?

Looking to try this...2011 IS-F shocks/springs on a 2009 IS350. It can't be nearly as harsh as my '07 Mazdaspeed 3 was. Let me know what else you found out on compatibility. Thanks!

Unless the upper perch and lower mounting points are different, it will work. But will it work for what you want it for? Perhaps, but rough. Plus, it might throw your alignment off.

I sorta did the same back when I had my Mitsu Lancer OZ Rally (base model Lancer). I got Mitsu Evolution front struts and put them on my base model Lancer. After adding those, a camber adjustment bolt, and Progress lowering springs I had it where I liked it. Ride quality was definitely different, but I liked the rougher ride cuz it handled great in the corners and during auto-x events.
