Default How long do springs last?
Hi, NOOB here
I am planning on getting some used springs from a fellow cl member
and i was just curious as to how long springs last ..the ones i am getting have around 5k miles on them

a lot longer than 5k. you have nothing to worry about

Probably never as long as there reputable springs. I would say your car would die before the springs do.

Some springs do sag, but you would have to rack up a lot of miles on bad roads in order to get near the end of the spring's life.

might want to worry about the life on ur shocks other than springs.

the springs will last forever (not seriously forever but you know wat i mean) but your shocks are wat your gonna have to change first.

I transfered my Eibachs from my old IS250 and put them on my IS350... they have probably 30k miles on them and im not worried. Springs last forever, especially if they are a good brand.
