For $160 there's only the ebay springs really. And you really don't want those.

Good quality springs like S-tech and H&R are going to be around $250 or more.

Used springs show up for $160 or less sometimes in the classifieds section here. That may be your best bet if that's your budget. Don't forget you'll need an alignment too after the springs settle in so factor in the cost of that too.

Check out the classifieds for springs. Members sometimes only use them for a couple thousand miles so they're in good shape. Usually you'll find used F-sport and Eibach springs at that price range (F-sports are really Eibachs).

But! You're going to wanna go lower. I didn't listen to other members on the forums and went ahead and got springs. Now I want to go lower! I'd say save the $160 and keep saving up for some coils. Megans go for 700-800 shipped I believe. BC Racing is another good brand that sells for under 1000.

i dont mind used springs as long as there is not a lot of miles on them and if they are from a good company

Are you sure you can't wait a little longer to save money for a drop that you'll really like (whether it be springs or coilovers)? It will be a hassle and a waste of money if you decide later that you aren't happy with what you settled for right this moment. I urge you to do a little more research so you know better what you like and try being a little more patient. When it all comes together the way you want it, it'll be well worth the wait!

They are ride height adjustable and give you better handling with a sportier feel basically.

Agreed, keep saving because installation and alignment costs $200+.
