Default Tips for adjusting coils?

I will be having my first set of coils installed and need tips on adjusting them. I was told by someone you dont need to remove each wheel to adjust. that you can jack up a side up at a time to the point where the car is raised but tire is still on the ground. then you can reach your hand in and make adjustments? Is this true? It sounds easier then taking each wheel off and adjusting. Id hate to take the wheels off and then have to take them off a second time if my adjustments are off. Can some of you guys chime in with the best way to do it?

Yes jack up one corner at a time, adjust and lower. Check your work and re-adjust if needed.

Well no but possible yes. Once the car is jacked up if you can reach into the wheel well and actually put your wrenches on the collars and adjust them then no keep the wheels on. Some people are dropped so low that even when they have the car jacked up there is not much droop in the suspension and trying to get your hands in there with the wheel on might prove difficult. But it is not needed to remove the wheel just might make the process easier with them off.
