Better overall ride comfort, fsport springs or coils?

Even though my BC coils are on the way it has been bothering me about some of the reviews of ride comfort. It amazes me how half the people on this board say they ride close to stock as far as comfort. While the other half claim its way harsh. I know its a matter of opinion and im not trying to insult anyone but some people just may not know what they are talking about. Anyway my question is will the BC coils with dampening adjustments give me better ride quality then fsport spring/shock combo? I would like to have a plan B in case I dont like how the coils ride. I drove a lowered jetta for 5 years and it sounded like it was going to fall apart everytime I hit I big bump in the road. Im not putting up with that in my lexus.

Ride comfort is so subjective, you really need to drive the car with setup in question. Agreed, any car that is lowered (versus OEM stock setup) will have some stiffening of ride. Otherwise people will continue to post hype on one setup or another.
I have Eibach 350's (same as F-Sports) on my IS350 and the ride is acceptable but stiffer than stock. I'm sure I'm the oldest poster in this section with a more conservative view on this subject. I have a current gen Mercedes C300 in my garage with stock setup and very good ride quality for direct comparison.

well with a coil over setup you would have the ability to adjust it to some degree. It may not be JUST like stock, but I'm sure you'd be able to find a ride height/spring preload/damper adjustment setting that would suit you just fine.

You could always drop the rates of the BCs. Like Circuit said you won't know till you ride in a car with BCs your self since everyone feels things differently and at this point all our opinions are subjective.

With adjustable dampers your biggest issue is going to be spring rate. I would try to avoid preloading the springs as much as you can. If you can get the ride quality you want on the lowest damper setting with little/no preload then swap springs. I would stick with an adjustable coil over and tune it rather then go backwards to the F-Sport set up.
I run HKS Hypermax III in the Supra and love the ride. I recently installed Stance GR+ on an Evo8 and that rides great as well.
I have always hated the ride in any car that I have installed Tien, Eibach or Susupension Technique springs in.
All of this is my opinion as everyone else had mentioned.

Law of physics
You have 6F 6R spring on the factory set-up versus 10F 8R on the coilover. Which one rides rougher?
Yeah the shock absorber will help but the main cause is the spring stiffness.

good info... I have the Tein springs and I don't like the ride... thinking of switching to coils but I'm pretty sure the bulk of my ride issues are the 20 inch wheels in the rear, not the suspension. =(
