Megan EZ Coilovers - Preinstall Questions (please help) *w/ pics*
Hey guys,
So I recently ordered Megan EZ Coilovers from Circuit Motorsports here on the forum. I have a couple of questions before I begin the installation.
1) I hear a lot of people are maxing out their front coilovers. My question is why do I have some space between the locking rings? The pre-load is set to zero (I can spin the spring with my hands and it's not too loose) and I can no longer rotate the shock into the cylinder. How come I'm not able to max them out?
2) How come the bottom cylinder bracket is different between Front and Rear coilovers? I've read through a few DIY how-tos and never seen the one circled below. How would I be able to secure it to the a-arm? Am I missing something?
Just wanted to ask you guys these 2 questions before my buddy and I are going to start tearing things apart. I have done lowering spring installation on my Subaru WRX and many more complicated projects, I've just never dealt with coilovers or IS250's yet. Here's a picture of a pair R and F just for referrence. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Anyone knows why I'm not able to max out the fronts? Or is that as low as they will go? Most of the coilover setups I've seen don't have any shock left... Thanks for any help!
