Tech - since you have more experience than me in this dept, let me ask you.. Should the height of the vehicle change in the front with new LCA's? I recently just did mine and i am getting a 2 finger gap when prior to changing them, I had no finger gap.. I am thinking the mechanic didnt load the LCA's with the weight of the car when he tightened up the suspension. Am I far off base here with my assumption?

EDIT: you need to put load on the suspension..

If you lock the bolts down with no weight on the car it will cause all kinds of issues.

I had to get mine up on the alignment rack, and then loosen - bounce the car, and retighten to spec.

my alignment guy just finished doing that actually..

all kinds of issues? can you elaborate? I thought just pre-mature failure of the bushings?

Popping, pre-mature bushing failure, drivability issues, alignment issues, etc.

I think there is a DIY for proper installation of the lca's on here. I will look for it.
