I had the ebc redstuff installed about 400-500 miles ago and im still getting the squeals. They recommend driving for 500-1500 miles in them to get rid of the squeals. I live in the suburbs so it will probably take longer for mine to bed in.

Yes, it's definitely embarrassing too, LOL! They were producing a lot of brake dust up until recently. The dust seems to be decreasing with more use. The squeal is still there but, it's not as loud as before. I didn't really feel much improvement compared to the OEM pads. I honestly don't think these are worth buying again and will be going back to OEM dust-less pads for my next set. I just can't stand the squeals that comes with these pads. I'll keep you updated on the next few hundred miles...

The squeals go away, I've had them since last October and mine don't Mae any noise. Only time it does make noise is when I back out but just recently that has stopped too. I have black rims so I can't tell much on brake dust but the dust shows up red on my rims

Well, I've put about another 400 miles on the brake pads since my last update. I still have the squeals. Will keep everyone updated on the next 400-500 miles.

Those of you who replaced the pads, did you clean and relube the shims and the pad's backing plate with caliper grease before installing?? This is likely the reason why you are still getting the squeaks and squeals.
