Default Question about Coilover Spring Rates

so i'm planning to get BC racing coils but i am having trouble what spring rate i should go with.

my ultimate goal is trying to get close to stock ride comfort as i can
From what i heard TEIN CST is the closet you can get but BC racing can revalve the coils to match the CST

but i've been hearing CST is too soft .. and the default BC racing settings are good enough..

so i want to ask ppl who tried either or had both to give some in put

also .. how much stiffer/softer does the adjustment on the coils give ?

let say i go with 8kg/7kg on Bc racing .. and i adjust the coils to stiffer.. would it push it to be as stiff as 10kg/9kg? and vice versa?

thank you

Just go with the stock BC rates, it will be fine and will be soft if you want it and harder if you like the twisties.

i was on 12/10kg. way to stiff for me, going with some swift coilovers spring at 8/7kg but longer than bc racing springs. more spring travel

We can do a slightly softer rate on the BC's for you, and they would be a little stiffer than Tein CSTs.

They are the metric measurement of lbs. measurment we use here.

10k spring = 564 lbs. spring.

I had the same issue, want to retain stock comfort as much as possible. I went with the standard 8/10 and love them. Before installation I set them to 15, middle, on all 4. The ride is a little bumpier then stock on 18" wheels. But for the most part its not to far off of stock comfort. Plus Im going to adjust them softer when I get a chance. I called BC directly about spring rates. The said I should just go with the standard set up. Anything softer could be to bouncy causing my fenders to rub.
