Please reply if you did NOT get an alignement after spring drop
I may get one when i go in for servicing...but to be honest, the wheels LOOK align, and there is no sign of uneven wear for the 600 miles since i had the car lowered on stock wheels and tires. (only 4800 on the ODO).
The cars a lease, and truthfully, i dont feel like spending the addtl $ on an alignment when the stock springs will be put on in 25k.
Please reply if you were able to get away with not doing this...

Truthfully a badly aligned car can look perfectly fine. Your car came
with factory alignment that for the most part will more than likely wear the inner most part of your front tires, a lot faster with the drop. So you could either spend $700+ on new tires or you could do an $80 alignment at a reputable shop that will give you the optimal settings for leas tire wear. It's your choice.

hmmm.. maybe ill just wait until i notice uneven tire wear or pulling until i get an alignment. if i actively look for uneven wear, how bad could it get? and the first sign of it, ill fix it with an alignment. its not like i plan on blindly driving for the next 25,000 miles without checking out my treads....besides, ill need to get a second set of tires before i turn in the car anyway.
if the dealership brings it up, then maybe ill reconsider.

might as well get an alignment and save your self some more money down the line with tires. Just because it's pulling straight doesn't always mean its 100% aligned or within tolerable specs.

Dude I dont get it, why do we buy lexus but always try to cut through some of the spending... I mean we spend money on adding c*rap like body kits and things but when it comes to rewarding your car for making you look good, transporting you everywhere, providing neckbraces.. you guys want to skimp. buddy I know its not your car but u should get it. I dropped my car and 7 months later my tires are wearing like ****. and just a heads up if your tires are badly worn when u turn in the car they MIGHT add that as a surplus to your wear and tear allowance. so their went double of what an aligment might cost you.
Trust me I know your trying to save money and am all for it but if you really want to save money give up pointless things, not necessities.

^ He's right. i have not had mine aligned but again I have less than 100 miles on it. nothing to align if it does not need it so ATLEAST go to a reputable place and get the damn thing checked. If it doesn't need it, they will tell you.
