Brake job requires..

Brake pads
Anti Squeal Grease
Tools
and something to push the pistons back.

I currently have Project Mu Bforce in my fronts. Brakes perdy good. A lot better when they are warmed up.

Hi folks,

I'm getting ready to swap rear brake pads since my pad thickness is down to maybe a mm.

I've done searches and see a plethora of posts on aftermarket brakes, LS400 brakes, etc. But I can't seem to find anything on the simple rear brake pad procedure.

This will be my first time attemping this on a Lexus. I assume that you need basic hand tools, a brake bleeder, and one of those tools from autozone to press the piston back into the caliper? Is that right? Any other tips that might be specific to Lexus regarding the brake lines, preventing squeel, etc?

Again, a post that really scares me.

If you are seriously asking questions like this, you need to either get a buddy to your house who knows what they are doing to assist you or take it to a workshop. Great job for having a go, but I would hate you to do this for the first time alone!
