Default Questions ..

Hi everyone!

I am 25, new to cars, and just purchased a 2010 black IS350 last October. I'm interested to get some aftermarket rims, etc, but it seems like most vendors just sell them. How would I get them installed if I personally do not know how to?

Thanks a bunch..

Ask around to find a recommended tire shop, preferrably one that is comfortable working with aftermarket wheels. If you buy from a CL vendor, have them ship the rims (and tires, if you get those too) to the shop. It typically costs between $20-$30 per wheel to have them mounted & balanced.

Welcome and congrats on the car! If you buy the wheels and take it to a tire shop, they'll put the tires on and on your car.

Thanks so much! Would the tire shops typically buy back my original factory rims?

Also, as long as the aftermarket wheels are same size as my factory, I should be able to use my existing tires, right?
