The ball joints have been replaced with an alignment following. The car is 100% again. Feels like a whole different car.

So did you end up replacing the tie rods and steering rack bushings as well?

Thomas,

did you use OEM ball joints? im going to do this soon since my car wants to wander on the freeway and loose steering. why didnt you replace the tie rods?? they look like they need replacing. do you really need an alignment after ball joints? i thought we only need it when we mess with tie rods..

Yes, OEM ball joints.

Truthfully, you should get an alignment each time you have suspension or steering work done since the suspension is out of balance.

is there a reason why you didnt change the tie rods? mine looks fine but im not sure if i should only change the ball joints. seems like you have a big improvement just changing the ball joints.

I don't think I had any improvement with the ball joints.

My problem was a much needed alignment.
