The upper arms don't necessarily have to be thick. The arm itself is really just a pivot point held by the ball joint. The structure of the ball join is where all the stress is. I would be more concerned about that.

I just ordered the adjustable SPC upper arms this past weekend. I'll be installing them with new brakes and RCA's

Please keep this post updated. I am thinking of picking up the SPC UCA's as well. Sounds like you are going with LS400 calipers?

Ya I'll be installing the LS400 calipers and StopTech drilled/slotted Rotors and SS hoses. I bought the Sage 30mm RCA to clear the calipers but thinking of switching to a smaller one like the 17mm FIGS RCA so it has less stress on the UCA. We'll see

Exactly! Ya I figured at $350 for the pair shipped for adjustable arms is definitely worth a shot. I wish there was more reviews about then here but I couldn't find any. I'll write a review after a couple months of driving.

I've got the SPC arms on mine. The car is lowered with no wheel gap and I've been rolling on them for almost a year now without a single problem. So far, the ball-joints are doing OK without any leaks or tears. The only problem I was having is that the arms bangs against the shock tower because the car is too low.

Would I buy these again? Definitely!

Ya I recall that post.. Whether its the SPC or OEM ball joint it would be angled pretty much the same. I do like the fact FIGS is using a uniball which really appeals to me
