Default Cut my Fender on IS350

I decided to cut a few spots where the fender was rubbing, for now it seems like most the rubbing has stopped with the exception of going over extremely large bumps.

I am lowered on BC Racing Coilovers and have stock wheels / tires.

I'm a little scared of that plastic clip / metal part / and getting water in my lights or damaging the harness.

I know a lot of people hammer out the metal piece but I just assume leave it if its not rubbing extremely hard.

Please let me know if I risk messing anything up without correcting this.

Thanks

the rubber seals in the 2is headlight and foglight housings should be water-proof. unless there is a history of moisture build-up in them, you should be fine with trimmed section of the fender liner.

on a related note, your 2is has to be REALLY low to cause tire-fender liner wear in that area. unless you're on taller-than oem-sized tires, you'd have to be really slammed for the tire to rub against the top of the fender liner
