Default Where to buy 97+ control arm bushings?

My car has been making a little "clank" noise for a while so I put it on the lift last night and started tapping on stuff. Sure enough when I hit the passenger side lower control arm at the bushing, there was the noise I've been hearing. So, it could only mean that I need new lower control arm bushings. The ball joints still look fine, no cracking, no leaking.

Now.... I'm Just curious where is the best place to buy new polyurethane FRONT LOWER control arm bushings. I have not heard good reviews about TM Engineering even though I did just buy sway bar bushings from them without any issues. I've heard they take a really long time in shipping and their customer service leaves something to be desired. Is there a vendor here that carries them and are the bushings different for a 97 and up? Thanks!

Likewise, you could look at my original post and see that I'm wanting bushings for a 97 and up. The link to Jegs says the bushings are for a 92 to 96 only. My car is a 2000.

So again, if someone has some insight as to what bushings I need and where to get them I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

I called my local dealer Hendrick Lexus in Charlotte and the parts associate said that they have the LCA bushings and that it would take just a day or 2 to get them so I might end up getting them from Lexus if nobody else has them. She also informed me that the LCA bushings were different from 98+ not 97+. I don't know how accurate that was, its the first I heard of it but I guess she knew what she was talking about. LOL

Never Mind, I called back today just to speak to someone else to verify the information she gave me was correct and of course it was not. The guy today told me that Lexus doesn't sell the bushing seperately, you have to buy the whole arm. Which now puts me back in the same boat of looking for bushings. Since nobody makes them and nobody here is trying to offer any advise (as usual) I'm selling this piece of crap. I liked my BMW way better anyway LOL!

The 97+ bushings are identical, if you look at the TM Engineering site it will tell you that.

I find it funny that people cry about us "not helping" them with their problems.

Sell you SC and snack on some BMW kielbasa...good day sir.

Hey man, if your trying to get poly bushings, the get in line with everone else. If you just want to replace the whole control arm, then just go to the local Toyota dealership & order a 97 supra control arm. They are the same, but cheeper. I had my buddy order it for me that works there 250. Might be a little more cause it was his cost, but its not 500+ lexus price. If that dont work for you, then by all means sell the car, cause your gonna spend more than that down the road, the older the car gets.

yes 97+ LCA bushings are different than 92-96 LCA Bushings. The metal sleeves are what differentiates the two.

I wouldn't order from tmengineering.net unless you are ok with waiting forever and possibly never hearing back from him. I am speaking from experience, not from what other people are saying.

I have a 97 SC300, I simply decided to replace the whole lower control arm with Supra TT one's.
